Ruville Strut Mounts
A vehicle’s strong shoulders
Taking a curve, navigating a traffic circle, backing into a parking space – every time you go driving, the steering has to react precisely. An important interface for this is the strut mount, also called the strut bearing. Mounted between the strut and the body shell, this mount is part of the spring/damper system and contributes to optimal contact between the tires and the road. They also isolate tire and body noise while driving, which increases driving comfort.
If the strut mount is damaged, it should definitely be replaced by a Ruville strut mount. These have OE-compliant designs, are precision-fit and can handle even the toughest handling conditions.
Note – while the rear axle uses mostly strut mounts made of rubber and metal, at the front axle strut mounts are usually combined with roller bearings.
- OE-compliant stiffness and vulcanization
- Absorbs higher strut loads
- External testing labs ensure consistent quality control
